entral Indiana Women's Indoor Tennis League (CIWITL)
We are forming teams for the 2006-7 season if you would like to join a league that plays teams from other tennis clubs in our area. Registration is due by July 17th, 2006. The pros will then form the teams and contact their players before August 1. Players may still be added after August 1, but most of the more popular teams and practice times will not be available. Those players who played on a team last season have priority for the same team this season.
Match play consists of 12 women per team playing doubles matches aproximately once a month against other indoor clubs in the Central Indiana area. Matches cost $12 per person with lunches provided by the home team.
Matches could be scheduled on Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays.
The National Tennis Rating Program (NTRP) is the official system for determining the levels of competition for the USA League Tennis. Teams are formed by the following NTRP ratings:
| "A" team = 4.1 - 4.5 | "B" team = 3.6 - 4.0 | "C" team = 3.1 - 3.5 |
| "Q" team = 2.6 - 3.0 | "X" team = 2.0 - 2.5 |
