CRC Juniors ACTS Students

Congrats to Emerson Bostic, Ellary Detamore, and Jake Richardson

These three Westfield High School students were elected by their teachers to participate in ACTS (A Chance To Serve), a youth leadership program put on by Purdue University Extension at the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds. Ten freshmen from each of these schools: Westfield, Hamilton Southeastern and Noblesville, all gather together to learn how to have a leadership voice in their schools and communities. They meet together six times throughout the rest of the school year. Each meeting has a different focus and the students get a taste of how things work in their community. At the end of the program the students will select a community board that they will serve on as a voting member throughout their sophomore year. Members from these organizations work with the students throughout the year. The students were selected by their teachers.
