United States Tennis Association/USTA selected J. B. and three other 80 and over  male tennis players to represent the USA at the 2018 ITF Super-Seniors World Team Championships. There were 14 countries entered. There are a total of eight different cups played in the Super-Seniors (65, 70, 75, 80 men’s and women’s). The men’s 80’s is called the Gardnar Mulloy Cup.

The US lost the championship in the finals to Sweden 1-2. JB played doubles with Lloyd Goldwater from California. His other teammates were Kaz Saito from Michigan and Lester Sacks from Louisiana.
