Congratulations for being selected as the 2007 Hamilton County Community Tennis Association (HCCTA) Volunteer of the Year. Your accounting skills, financial acumen, and passion for helping others are unmatched. You have single-handedly brought HCCTA into the computer age and made HCCTA a more professional organization. We are proud to call you a CRC member.

The second annual Doc Richards Memorial Tennis Tournament, "The Doc," was held June 9. More than 32 players participated in this year's event whcih raised nearly $4000 for the HCCTA College Scholarships and the Heritage Christian Doc Richards Scholarship (student athlete).

Open Division Winners (round robin):
Kevin Gill, Ricky Heath, John Moorin and Chris Zeilinga

Senior Men's Division results:
Sam Suthpin and Court Jackson defeated Dave Held/Will Higgins for the championship. Tom Frew, JB Hayes and Bernie Miller won the consolation match. Chip Bondurant, Bob Browning and Dave Resley won the semi-final reprieve (3rd place). John Carter and Todd Werner won the "Last Chance" division.

Colin Atkinson, the tournament chair, said, "Everyone had a great time and got to play a lot of tennis with the triple elimination format in the senior division. We look forward to an even bigger event next year. We thank all of our participants and great sponsors for making this a successful event."
