The second annual Doc Richards Memorial Tennis Tournament, "The Doc," was held June 9. More than 32 players participated in this year's event whcih raised nearly $4000 for the HCCTA College Scholarships and the Heritage Christian Doc Richards Scholarship (student athlete). Open Division Winners (round robin): Senior Men's Division results: Colin Atkinson, the tournament chair, said, "Everyone had a great time and got to play a lot of tennis with the triple elimination format in the senior division. We look forward to an even bigger event next year. We thank all of our participants and great sponsors for making this a successful event." ''The Doc'' Sponsors Carmel Racquet Club |
